Caughman Road Elementary will participate in the City of Columbia's Arbor Day celebration Friday, December 2 from 8:45-10:30 AM. During this time, students will enjoy a presentation by legendary Arborist, Tim Womick. In addition to this presentation, all students will receive a tree seedling to plant at their home and the school will receive nine 10 Ft. trees donated by Long Branch Farms.

$2 for students and $3 for adults
NBSC and The Caughman Road Comets will be hosting a "Give the Gift of Reading" bookdrive December 5th - December 9th. Donations of gently used or new books will be collected at NBSC (Garner's Ferry branch) during bank hours. Donations will be used to build classroom libraries to support students' love for reading. You can help a child become a strong reader by making a donation.
Richland One families that are interested in learning about the district's 2017-2018 elementary Montessori programs and applying to enroll their children are invited to attend a parent information session. Parent sessions for Caughman Road Elementary are Thursday, December 8, 2016, 8:30 AM or Tuesday, January 10, 2017, 6:00 PM. Click here for additional details.
Please be reminded when you child is absent from school, you will have 48 hours to submit an excuse for the absence. If the school does not receive verification of an absence, the absence will be coded unexcused.
